July 20th, 2008 - the Weekly Depot

We opened up at 8:45 and there were three customers inside before we had all the lights turned on.

Very hot day outside and we kept the large door closed, but the little door open.

It still stays cool inside but is more welcoming to customers than a closed door. Steady stream of customers all day.

Today we closed promptly at 2:00 so we could get to a movie on time. We made it.

Well, It's been slow and mostly steady.

We're staying open a little late, 2:30 now, because the rain drove in a bunch of fleeing flea marketers.

Steady traffic all day today.

Good crowd of people today. Apparently there was a pretty good crowd yesterday

The sale on history and hardcover fiction did get good press coverage and there seem to be lot of customers who head straight to the history table.

I'll give a final report later.
